However, a large number of shots without L2 values may trigger unwanted QC scrutiny. DaVinci Resolve Studio does not automatically fill in the L2 metadata for untrimmed shots.<\/p>\n<p>L2 Generator populates any missing L2 metadata with nominal or imperceptibly small random values. It supports the V2.9 XML metadata.<\/p>\n<p>L2 Generator also works as a limited graphical user interface for the Metafier command line tool (Metafier not included). It can validate a leading HDR technology V2.9 and V4.0 XML metadata files.<\/p>\n<p>M1\/M2 Macs require Rosetta mode. The legacy application may not launch on newer macOS. The Linux and Windows versions are unaffected.
